In today’s world, media is everything. Sometimes it feels harder than ever to get your work into the world, or even just your school. Worry no more – Kettle Moraine School for Arts and Performance (KM Perform) has something for you! Started in October 2015 by Lauren Gennerman, Ampersand Pages is an outlet for all kinds of artwork ranging from musical scores to paintings, short stories to script excerpts. All of the work included is created and submitted by students of KM Perform, and the entire project is run by a team of students just as passionate as the contributors.

This year, the Ampersand Pages crew is stronger than ever. Led by Riley Haller and Paige Kuhn, the team has Fiction Editors (Marian Cramer and Alex Sheppard), Poetry Editors (Emma Kuehn and Charlie Blue), Nonfiction Editors (Rachel Czestler and Hunter Weber), an Art Outreach Team (Rob Colon and Hannah Pfaff), a website coordinator (Klaudia Rixmann) and a Publicity Coordinator (Hunter Weber). Ms. Kim Suhr, Director of Red Oak Writing, leads the team, which is more than excited to receive submissions.

What kind of work are we looking for? As far as submissions go, the Ampersand team is pretty open. Literary pieces should be shared with [email protected], where the team will review and get back to you. For artwork, simply take a picture and send it via the same email. The Ampersand crew would love to be as inclusive to all focuses as possible, so please don’t be afraid to submit something outside of your focus area.
