Dear Reader,

This is the last issue of the year. It’s been a wild ride, with articles ranging from trips to Japan to James and the Giant Peach to the origin of Mr. Weber’s aikido seminars. My name is Charlie Blue, and I’m a sophomore Writing Focus at Kettle Moraine School for Arts and Performance (KM Perform). Alongside fellow sophomore Writing Focus, Paige Kuhn, I run the newsletter and lead the seminar. My job is more behind the scenes, while Paige does most of the talking.

As the year draws to a close, I want to thank you for reading the KMP Express newsletter. I hope you enjoyed the articles you read and the quizzes you took this year. Next year guarantees more fun to come!

Personally, I’ve learned a lot this year. When I first took the Senior Editor position, I had no idea it would be as much work as it was, but I would do it all again if I had the chance. This year granted me the opportunity to grow as a person both academically and personally. KMP Express has helped me to come out of my shell and feel more comfortable with the people around me. I can’t speak for Paige, but I believe that leading newsletter has been beneficial for her as well.

Before I finish out my letter, I want to say another big Thank you! to the fabulous readers, writers, and interviewees who made KMP Express what it was this year. I’m very grateful for my peers, who signed-up to write articles and turned in their very best work issue after issue. Everyone has had a hand in building this newsletter, and I thank each and every one of them.

Hope to see you next year!

Charlie Blue 🙂
