Have you ever wanted to see student films from throughout the entire district during an awards showcase experience in front of a live audience? Well, that’s exactly what happened on May 31st. Kettle Moraine High School (KMHS) was proud to host the annual Film Festival. Any and all genres of film were welcome, as long as they’re school appropriate and follow all of the guidelines.

Films could be as short as one minute, but couldn’t be longer than ten to fifteen minutes. Submitting films to the Film Festival is good experience for any novice filmmaker to see how the audience responds, and see their films on the big screen.

During the festival, ballots were handed out to audience members so they could vote on winners for each category. What kind of films were submitted? All genres were accepted, as long as the films met quality standards. The evening played out with the viewing of commercials, short films, music videos, and documentaries.
